Can You Beat the Bot?
Can writers submit from outside the United States?
Yes, writers may participate from anywhere in the world as long as it complies with your local laws. Stories must be submitted in English. And if your story is selected for an episode, you must be able to accept an Amazon gift card as payment.
How will you count the words?
We will use the word-counting function on Microsoft word.
Can more than one writer work on a story?
Yes, but there should only be one contact person. And you are responsible for dividing the prize money.
Do I have to have exactly 200 words?
You have a cushion of 20 words over or 20 words under 200. But since we want the episodes to be approximately the same length, we cannot accepts stories with word counts outside 180-220 words.
